Things we have learned this week

Here are some lessons from the past week:

1. Having a bleach pen in a load of laundry does not necessarily mean disaster if the cap is on
2. Clorox 2 can get out black bean juice and save a shirt
3. Potlucks with two small children are an interesting affair
4. Dandelions don't taste good (that one is Samantha's and yet she still continues to eat them)
5. Susan really shouldn't rollerskate without lessons
6. Home ownership involves A LOT of decisions
7. Our church is really great (we officially became members and everyone was SO nice)
8. Alexandra can learn anything if you put it into a song (her ability to learn songs is astounding)
9. Samantha can crawl upstairs
10. Our girls like to giggle together and make each other laugh
11. Samantha can not be parted from her water cup for long
    
12. AND the most important: Samantha can walk all by herself - she took her first step on Tuesday.
