Summer Rose arrived on Sunday night to the proud parents of John's brother, Brian, and his wife, Shawna. She is absolutely beautiful. She decided to come two weeks early, so we hopped in our car and rushed the two hours to Columbia to take of Seth, Summer's big brother. We made it with about 2 minutes to spare. Summer didn't want to wait to come out!
Alexandra and Samantha adore their newest cousin. All Alexandra wanted to do was to hold Summer or to take care of her. When Summer was sleeping in her bassinet, Alexandra had to go check on her many times. Samantha kept saying "Baby, baby!" and giving Summer gentle touches. But I think that Samantha enjoyed playing with Seth more (Samantha and Seth are only 4 months apart). Welcome Summer Rose - you are loved already.
