Happy Birthday Samantha!

Two years ago at 9:10 am, our lives changed forever. John told me "We have a Samantha!" She is our helper, our comforter, and our adventurer. She fearlessly tries new things, sometimes it is good and sometimes not. If someone is crying, she is there, wanting to give a cup of water or a blankie, depending on the situation. If you are resting, she must come check on you to make sure that you are okay. She just has such a heart for other people.

Samantha LOVES to help with household chores, such as the dishwasher, making beds, and washing clothes. She also loves to help cook. She has trouble understanding why she can't cook on the stove yet. She is serious and yet when she knows you, she is playful. Alexandra is Samantha's best friend and she is often lost without her big sister. I wish that the words that I am saying could convey more of who Samantha is and who we are watching her become. Our prayer is that most of all, that she will become a woman of God. The Lord has enriched our family with Samantha in ways that we didn't know our family could be enriched and blessed.
