Sunday was the first day that Alexandra was old enough to go to children's church and she was ecstatic. She also went up to the front of the church for the short children's sermon. Samantha was in the sanctuary with us for the singing and when she realized that she couldn't go with Alexandra, Samantha wailed and had a complete and total breakdown. It resulted in John taking Samantha home for a nap (since she had been up since at least 5:45, she was quite tired).
Then while Alexandra was up front, she started said "Hi Mama!" a few times, so the whole church knew where I was sitting. But children's church went well and Alexandra really enjoyed it. Then later tonight, John dropped Alexandra off at Vacation Bible School at our church. He asked her if she wanted him to stay and she said that she would be just fine on her own. Our little girl is growing up - I am not sure if I am ready....

Yikes. She was just 3 and happily asking if Seth was proud of her for using the big potty! Now she's off to children's church. What happened? How does it go by so quick.
