Samantha has strep throat. It's going around. And man, it is not fun. She is not sleeping and thus John and I are not sleeping. The nurse promised that she would feel better within a few days of medicine and I plan to hold her to her word. Our computer also decided to implode this week. The hard drive had been driven too hard. Back up your work people!
But even in the midst of extreme fussiness and no internet (which for us means no tv), there are blessings. Our kitchen is cleaner than it has been in a while. Who knew the computer was such a time sucker? And when we got home tonight from the doctor, Samantha wanted to lay down on her bed (note: this is NOT normal). She wanted Alexandra to come back with her. So Alexandra grabs her bag of Backpack Bear books (she is learning to read them at school) and proceeds to read to Samantha for at least twenty minutes. Sister love is amazing and a gift from God.
