Graduate School

Alexandra informed us today that she and her Dolly were going to go to graduate school for math. Since she did start reading the SIAM newspaper (a math thing) that John receives when she was 2, it might be a good bet.

Then we heard Alexandra tell Samantha that it was time for them to go to math graduate school. Samantha promptly responded by saying "I don't want to do math." This made us giggle. But since Samantha asked John to read her the book below when she was almost 2, the jury is still out.

Our poor girls who hear about differential equations (partial and ordinary), geometry, the best ways to teach mathematics, etc. at the dinner table. We know that they will probably not be mathematicians and that is just fine by us.
