We decided to get a new camera because well, our old one never quite recovered after I dropped in it the pond. Also, Brian (john's brother) kept telling us that he could find us a super duper (my words) camera for not much more than we would pay for a simple camera, plus nice cameras are harder to break. Brian found us a wonderful used camera that even he envies. It even has a steel frame and a strap, which are always bonuses given my history of dropping cameras. We have only had the camera for a few days, but it has been wonderful! We are still learning how to use it, but it's great. We can take pictures I have only dreamed about. So, here are a few pictures that we could not have taken with our old camera....
