Sickness & imagination abounds

Everyone is sick at our house, even Samantha. Alexandra caught a cold and passed it onto the rest of us. She likes to share. :) I can tell that she is starting to go stir crazy by being at home because she is "calling" people on her phone and asking them to come over. Granted, Alexandra does this a lot, but today, she has done it more than normal. Alexandra started going to daycare once a week about 3 months ago and she has been begging to go this week. There are a lot of girls there around her age and she has grown so much more outgoing since then. She may just also be growing up, but I really think it has do with just hanging out with lots of girls her own age. All of our friends have boys, with one exception.

It has really been neat just to watch her imagination grow and change over the past few months. Alexandra is really into "cooking" for us. Apparently grape jelly and hamburgers with butter go well together. We made blueberry muffins today and she wanted to do everything I did. Alexandra has also been playing a lot more with her baby doll - which is to be expected with a baby around. It has been eye opening at times to see her mirror the things that we do with Samantha. She picks up on so much! It is very humbling. Praise God that His grace abounds....
